Mga Kagamitang Pampagtuturo sa Pang-unawa sa Pagbasa sa Filipino

Layunin sa pag-aaral na ito, ang makagawa ng mga kagamitang pampagtuturo para sa pagpapaangat ng antas ng pag-unawa sa pagbasa sa wikang Filipino para sa ikaanim na baiting. Ang pag-aaral na ito ay gumamit ng disenyong panlarawang debelopmental na sinimulan sa pamamagitan ng pagsasagawa ng sarbey na pagsubok sa lahat ng mga mag-aaral sa ikaanim na baiting sa tatlong mababang paaralang sakop ng Distrito ng Catbalogan I. Sa kinalabasan ng pagsubok na sarbey, kinuha ang dalas ng pagkakamali ng bawat aytem at tiniyak ang mga kakulangan at kahinaan ng mga mag-aaral sa asignaturang pagbasa sa wikang Filipino, lalo na sa pang-unawa. Ang kahusayan sa wikang Filipino ng mga bata ay isa pang bagay na may mahalagang kaugnayan sa mga natamong kahirapan sa mga kasanayan sa pagbasa na may pag-unawa sa Filipino. Ito ay napatunayan sa pamamagitan ng natuos na halaga ng Fisher’s t na 72.210 na lubhang mahigit kaysa sa halagang tabular ng t na 1.960. Batay sa napatunayan mahalagang kaugnayan ng mga baryets sa kahirapan sa mga kasanayan sa pagbasa na may pang-unawa sa Filipino, ang ipotesis na nagsasaad na “walang mahalagang kaugnayan ang kahirapan ng mga kalahok sap ag-aaral na ito at ang kani-kanilang mga baryets,” ay hindi tinanggap. Ang antas ng pang-unawa ay mayroong makabuluhang kaugnayan sa mga katangian o baryets ng mga mag-aaral, kagaya ng magulang, kasarian at kahusayan sa wikang Filipino. Matibay na iminumungkahi rin nga mananaliksik na ang mga kagamitang ito ay gamitin bilang karagdagang material sa paglinang ng mga kasanayang lubhang mahirap para sa mga mag-aaral sa ikaanim na baitang.
