About the Journal
Graduate School offers programs on education, philosophy, management, science and technology, engineering, health and fishery. It is a mandate that all graduate and post-graduate students should be able to produce theses and dissertations to showcase their knowledge and expertise within the subject matter they have been studying as part of the program.
The DATD publishes theses and dissertations of SSU Graduate School from a range of academic disciplines and research methods that represent issues of interest towards different disciplines among graduate and post-graduate students. To a certain extent, some undergraduate theses may also be shared in this platform. The papers published here will provide research findings and implications for scholars, practitioners, and policy makers. It can be used for building knowledge. Second, it can be tool for learning, can be used to understand different issues, to aid for business success and lastly, to know the truth. Research is a way in order to prove something and reveals the truth.
The mission of SSSU Digital Archive of Theses and Dissertations (SSU-DATD) is to provide additional source of scholarly work accessible to scholars here in Samar, the Philippines and the world. It is hoped that through the findings of the research undertaking of SSU Graduate School Students, new things will evolve in a form of policy, serves as a basis for decision making, or a platform for another discovery or creation of new knowledge which hopefully contribute to the betterment of society. It is also expected that new linkages may be forged given the improved access of other scholars to the homegrown talents of Samar.
