This study evaluated the health knowledge and practices of the Grade VI pupils in the urban and the rural areas of Samar. This study uses the descriptive method of research. Inasmuch as the present study is concerned mainly with the evaluation and comparison of the knowledge and practices of the Grade VI pupils in Health. Twenty-nine percent of the teachers did not earn health units in college. Books available were limited. There were few health seminars conducted. There was no sufficient time given for health. Pupils obtained very low scores in the test. There was a significant difference in the health knowledge as well as in the good and bad practices of the Grade VI pupils at 0.05 level of significance. For the recommendation, more in-service training in health should be given. More books, guides, and references should be made available. Enough time should be given to health education. Teachers should follow the time schedule for each subject. Administrators should see to it that all areas in health education are taken care of by teachers accordingly.
